A real inspection, from one visit
A house in Bristol, photographed in a single flight. This is what lands in your inbox: close-ups of each part of the roof, with anything worth acting on marked up.
A cracked tile with a hole worn through. Worth getting a roofer to replace it before it lets water in.

Moss and debris building up along the run.

Lichen along the ridge tiles. Check the mortar next time.

Stack, pots and flashing photographed from every side.

Flashing in place, with some debris collecting.
Commercial and warehouse roofs
Big flat and metal roofs are where a drone saves the most. Here's an example of what a commercial inspection looks like: a full overview, then close-ups of anything that needs attention.
Example images

The whole roof in one shot, so you can see layout and overall condition.

Holes and tears where water could get in, photographed up close.

Blockages and plant growth that cause overflow and leaks.

Cracks, wear and failed seals around each rooflight.
Why people book an inspection
A tenant reports a leak
See where the water's getting in before you send a contractor.
After a storm
Check every building on your books quickly, not one ladder at a time.
A roofer's quote looks high
Get independent photos of what's actually up there before you approve the work.
Between tenancies
A dated record of the roof's condition for your files.
Yearly condition checks
Catch slipped tiles and blocked gutters while they're still cheap to fix.
Suspected lead theft
Confirm what's missing on large roofs like churches and schools.
How it works
Most inspections go from first email to finished report in about two days.
Send the address
Tell us the property and what's worrying you. You'll get a fixed price back the same day.
Airspace check
We check airspace and permissions for the site and plan around neighbours.
The flight
Most roofs take under an hour on site. Nobody needs to let us in.
Your report
A marked-up PDF and the full photo set, emailed within 48 hours.
Looking after a lot of buildings?
Book several blocks or a whole estate in one visit and the price per building comes down. We can also put your roofs on a yearly schedule.
Questions
Is this a building survey?
No. It's a visual roof inspection: we photograph and mark up what can be seen from the air. It isn't a RICS survey or a structural assessment, but it shows a roofer or surveyor exactly where to look, and often saves calling one out at all.
Do you need access to the building?
Usually not. We fly from nearby, so nobody needs to be home. If a site needs a landowner's or neighbour's permission, we'll tell you when we quote.
Are you qualified to fly commercially?
Yes. Flights are carried out by a CAA-registered operator holding the A2 Certificate of Competency. We can send our certificates before you book.
What if the weather's bad?
We don't fly in heavy rain or strong wind. If the forecast turns, we move the flight to the next suitable day at no extra cost.
Which areas do you cover?
Bristol and the surrounding area, including Bath, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. Further afield on request.
Can you do several buildings in a day?
Yes. Managing agents often book a whole block or estate in one visit, which brings the price per building down.
Request an inspection
Send the address and what you need. We'll reply with a fixed price and the next flight date, usually the same day.
